Pull Up A Chair

Come Home to Yourself

There's something I've been wanting to share with you.

Jen Moore
You don't have to become someone else to live a beautiful life.

If you've found your way here...

I'm really glad you did.

Maybe you came looking for healthier skin. Maybe someone shared a recipe. Maybe you found this little corner of the internet completely by accident.

However you got here, welcome.

Pull up a chair. Pour yourself a cup of coffee— iced, if you're anything like me, even when it's chilly outside—and stay awhile.

For a long time, I thought living well meant doing more.

Trying harder. Keeping up. Fixing the next thing. Finding the next answer, the next product, the next plan, or the next version of myself.

Sound familiar?

Somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending so much time trying to become someone else that I wasn't fully appreciating the woman I had already become.

That changed everything.

A life that feels like your own.

These days, I don't believe living well has to be complicated.

I think it's found in ordinary moments.

A morning that isn't rushed.
Healthy skin that feels cared for instead of fixed.
A nourishing meal shared with people you love.
Fresh flowers from the grocery store that somehow make the whole house feel happier.
A walk by the ocean. A quiet prayer. A few minutes of meditation or stillness.
And, of course, a really good cup of coffee.

Little things, maybe. But isn't that what life is mostly made of?

I've learned that caring for myself isn't only about what I put on my skin or on my plate. It's also about how I care for my heart, my mind, my nervous system, and the pace of my life.

Sometimes that looks like prayer. Sometimes it's sitting quietly before the day begins. Sometimes it's taking a deep breath, stepping outside, writing in my journal, or noticing that I've been running on empty and need to slow down.

Peace isn't something I've mastered. It's something I keep making room for.

I'm still learning too.

Before you think I've completely figured out this whole slower-living thing, let me assure you—I haven't.

I still overfill my calendar sometimes. I still leave dishes in the sink. I still wonder how laundry manages to multiply overnight.

And yes, dinner is occasionally much later than planned because life happens.

I'm still learning too.

That's one of the reasons this space matters so much to me. I don't want it to become another place that tells women they need to have everything figured out.

I want it to be a place where we can breathe.

Where we can take care of ourselves without constantly trying to fix ourselves.

Where getting older isn't treated like something to fear.

We may have a few more gray hairs, a few unwanted pounds, and some smile lines—but honestly, ladies, we worked for those.

They're evidence that we've lived.

What you'll find around here.

Around here, I share what I'm genuinely learning, loving, making, and coming back to.

You'll find conversations about healthy skin and waterless beauty, nourishing food, creating a peaceful home, faith, gratitude, meditation, calming the nervous system, favorite books, functional coffee, and the ordinary moments that make life feel rich.

Some days I'll share what's working. Other days, I'll share what I'm still figuring out.

Because I believe there's something powerful about women encouraging one another instead of competing with one another.

This isn't about presenting a perfect life.

It's about creating one that feels peaceful, meaningful, and true to who we are.

The world is constantly asking us to become someone else. Maybe the answer isn't becoming more— but becoming more of who we already are.

A Gentle Reminder

One thing I hope you remember.

You don't need the perfect home, the perfect body, the perfect skincare routine, or the perfect plan to begin caring for yourself well.

You're allowed to start exactly where you are.

You're allowed to age.

You're allowed to slow down.

You're allowed to appreciate the life you've already built while still making room for what comes next.

And you don't have to do any of it alone.

Welcome Home

I'm glad you're here.

Whether you stop by for a recipe, a skincare tip, a favorite find, a little encouragement, or simply because you needed a quieter place to land today, I'm glad you're here.

My hope is that every time you visit, you leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.

A little more encouraged. A little more understood.

And reminded that you don't have to become someone else to live a beautiful life.

I'll save you a seat.

Jen 🤍
